- Eat Iron-Rich Food: Your monthly period can make you iron deficient. So, teenage demands the need for more iron to stay energized. You can get iron through banana, red meat, fortified breakfast cereals, spinach, fried lamb’s liver, garden peas, etc.
- Eat Calcium-Rich Food: Calcium can help in strengthening your bones and teeth. So, if you are calcium deficient when bones are in the growth phase, you may end up with weak bones. You can get calcium from low-fat yogurt, milk, cottage cheese, broccoli, etc.
- Eat Berries to Fight Diseases: Berries are important sources of vitamin C, fiber. They can help your body to build up resistance to fight diseases. Eat Proteins to Resist Diseases: Proteins help to build our immune system. They help to fight and resist diseases. Proteins can also help heal injuries faster. You can get proteins from tuna fish, milk, salmon, cheddar cheese, etc. wow i didn't know berries can fight diseases.
- Eat Plenty of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits: They contain plenty of vitamins and minerals that are important to carry out normal body functions.
